The May 2026 1v1 Championship has been called off, and the tournament side of Gore Rank is going into hibernation indefinitely.
Built it. Funded it. Hyped it. Real prizes, real bracket, permanent records nobody could edit. Turns out competitive WoW outside the game just isn't where the culture is right now. Folks will grind rated forever, but ask them to put their name on a 1v1 ladder with public stakes? Quiet room.
No hard feelings. WoW is older now and the competitive scene has gotten softer about losing on the record. That's fine. We had fun making it scary.
Gore Rank stays standing as a Horde guild on Destromath-US. Leaderboard, analytics, report cards, badges, Discord, all of it still works. Sign in, track your stuff, push rated, hang out.
Honestly, this is the coolest competitive infrastructure I've found anywhere outside of WoW itself. Tournament builder, ELO math, prize pool engine, Battle.net auth, hype scheduler, permanent records, the whole stack. Battle-tested.
If you've got a community that actually wants to compete and you want this engine, it's yours for low thousands. Real software, fully working, not a toy.
